Construction Manager - TEC Group : Job Details

TEC GROUP IS PARTNERING WITH OUR CLIENT TO IDENTIFY A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER OR ENGINEER WITH EXTERIOR COMMERCIAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a similar field is required.

Must have A Professional License such as a Professional Engineer or Architects license or similar

10+ years of experience in commercial construction working for an engineering, architecture, or construction company.

Extensive experience with building enclosures – building envelopes.

Technical knowledge of building type.

High level of understanding of construction processes and activities.

Good understanding of building materials, science, and methods.

Good understanding of the aspects of building structure, enclosures and systems. Specifically, in evaluations of building design, construction, and existing buildings.

Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam with knowledge of Plan Grid a plus

Responsibilities:

Execute forensic reviews on building enclosures, including visual reviews and troubleshooting.

Direct and oversee testing and investigations

Strong understanding of building performance is a must.

Perform building evaluations on existing and new construction commercial, multi family, hospitality, and office

Perform building-enclosure RFI support, drawing reviews, submittal reviews, and site inspections on new construction work.

Assist the Architect, Developer, and Contractor in project metrics.

Review and analyze documents including specs and drawings.

Prepare formal reports, and communicate complicated design ideas
