Construction Manager / Owners Rep - INNOVATIVE PEOPLE SOLUTIONS : Job Details

WHO OUR CLIENT IS Our client has developed the newest residential golf course community in the Palm Beach area in over two decades. Coupled with the incredible golf course and amenities is a series of semi-custom estates that offer modern architecture and high-end design that aligns beautifully with the golf course and community lifestyle. WHAT THEY NEED Our client is seeking two individuals to function as Construction Managers / Owners Reps who will ensure that all new homes are being built to quality standards and aligned to construction budgets, schedules, and quality and design standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Eyes and ears in the field representing the owner.
• Keep track of 2 - 4 week look ahead with GC to make sure that the construction schedule is tracking.
• Liaison with GC team and internal Architectural and Design team to proactively resolve construction issues.
• Resolve GC RFI's timely.
• Issue Owner RFI's and keep progress records.
• Manage and add to OAC meeting minutes.
• Pre-permitting QC check with documentation.
• Maintain lot specific document control with GC partner.
• Making sure that the color sheets and plans are correctly being built in the field, especially that the homeowner upgrades are in the home.
• Communicate with buyer - be well prepared for buyer meetings and answer any questions. Seek answers to questions and professionally communicate with the customers.
• Establish a framework for walks for buyer interaction and documentation.
• Establish a process for punch list with GC partner.
• Establish process for closing and customer service.
• Reporting: Assist VP of construction operations for project tracking and reports.
• Preconstruction management to set up future projects for success.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in construction related field, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
• 4 to 5 years' work experience in high end production homes and/or custom homebuilding environment.
• Proven record of successfully completing homes and walkthroughs with experienced, high-end customers.
• Expertise in reading architectural, structural and ID plans and documents related to home building.
• Expertise in Procore (preferred), MS Excel and project management software.
• Understanding of construction details and finishes in high end production or custom homebuilding.
• Excellent communication/negotiation skills.
