Construction MEP Tech Superintendent - BlackRock Resources : Job Details

We're looking for a skilled Construction Superintendent with a strong background in managing large-scale commercial and industrial projects. If you have a minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience in mechanical construction and are ready to take on challenging projects, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and supervise Assistant Superintendents and/or craft activities, including construction methods, material quantities, equipment needs, and work schedules.

* Coordinate work across different crafts, departments, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

* Maintain communication with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.

* Assist in resolving construction issues related to productivity, work interfaces, and more.

* Work closely with the Labor Relations Department to maintain union communications, resolve disputes, and manage labor requisitions.

* Monitor and enforce compliance with project safety programs, implementing corrective actions as needed.

* Liaise with departments such as Material Control, Purchasing, and Quality Control to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections are aligned with the project schedule.

* Oversee all field aspects of smaller projects with support from the home office.

Qualifications:

* 8+ years of supervisory experience in mechanical construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and procedures.

* Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control, with proven ability to manage large teams.

* Experience with Commercial and/or Industrial projects valued at $15M or more.

* Ability to travel, as you will be job site assigned.
