Job Summary:
The Construction Scheduling Manager will oversee and manage the scheduling of multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Development & Oversight: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project schedules using MS Project.Team Leadership & Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, provide guidance on best practices, and act as the primary liaison for scheduling discussions.Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor progress, maintain project performance metrics, and provide regular reports on project status.Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify potential risks, develop contingency plans, and collaborate with project teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.Process Improvement & Compliance: Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes and tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction scheduling or project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project and other scheduling software
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and phases, with expertise in scheduling best practices and resource management
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
