Job Title: Clerk of the Works/Construction Project Coordinator/AssistantCompany: A thirty-year-old privately owned commercial construction firm that specializes in commercialcabinets, equipment rentals, maintenance, remodeling, restoration, and roofing. The Company is growing andexpanding its team to service more clients.Corporate Office Location: Fort Lauderdale, FloridaProject Locations: Miami, FL &; Fort Lauderdale, FLStatus: Full-time employeeRelevant Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial construction.Education Level: High School Diploma Required and Associate's degree PreferredCompensation: $25/hourBenefits: 100% employer paid health, dental, and vision insurance for individual plans, sick and vacation time,and bonuses available based on performanceResponsibilities: The Accounting Clerk of Works plays a crucial role in construction projects. This is a person(usually has some accounting experience maybe an associated degree) that goes to large restorationprojects and/or large commercial fixed price projects and clocks in/out temporary workers and logs allequipment, materials, and transportation on the project.Must have the ability to:1. Use ERP system for data entries.2. Effectively communicate progress in the field to the Field Administrator or Project Manager.3. Assess issues and determine resolutions of the problem.4. Able to perform work on weekends or after hours as needed.5. Able to communicate with personnel in the field.6.
