(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.SIE is looking for a Construction Manager to act in a Project Officer role supporting the NYCSCA in Construction Management Services.Responsibilities:Under guidance of a senior project officer, coordinate the design and construction activities of complex construction and modernizations projectsEnsure design and construction activities have a high standard of quality and comply to requirements.Make decisions quickly and effectively to ensure the timely completion of work.Notice and correct mistakes before they are incorporated into the projectQualification & Skills:Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university5+ years of technical specialist construction experience2+ years of experience managing all phases of construction work on similarly scoped projectsExperience with construction projects of NYC agencies preferredExperience with permittingExperience with construction projects in occupied buildingsDriver s License valid in New York StateExpected salary range is $100,000-$120,000 annually.
