Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from conception to completion. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively lead a team and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules.
- Oversee project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Select, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Lead project meetings and ensure all team members are aligned on goals and deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software and project management tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM).
- Experience with large-scale commercial or residential construction projects.
- Bilingual capabilities (e.g., English and Spanish) are a plus.
Physical Requirements
