Job Title: Construction Site ManagerLocation: Kalama, WA 98625Duration: 03-04 MonthsPay Range: $60.00 to $76.00Job Description:Works with the Project Manager, and the Project Engineer to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.Oversees company s construction site, and general contractors to ensure a high level of quality and safety.Responsibilities:Develop daily Hazardous Work Permits (HWP s)Hold a Daily Safety Briefing, Coordinate site activities with Prime Contractor's Site Superintendent.Review contractors daily Job Safety Analysis s (JHA s)Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.Ensure quality workmanship and quality inspections are conducted. Retain and maintain a file of test and inspection reports.Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues.Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements.Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working condition.Maintain and update SOW and construction documents, and meet contract obligations by developing relationships with reliable contractors and vendors.Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.Conduct Pre-Start up inspections and maintain Pre-Start-up Checklists.Reports the status of projects to Management.Qualification:2 - 4 years of higher education is preferred.5+ years of industrial construction experience preferred. Oil and Gas experience is preferredKnowledge of Construction Safety Practices and OSHA regulations (10 Hour or 30 Hour OSHA Training is a plus)Proactive and ensuring a safe working environment.Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Construction, including utilities.Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods.Ability to manage with an eye for quality.Good oral and written communication skills.
