Construction Project Manager-Remote - Superior Skilled Trades : Job Details

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with at least five years of construction project management experience for a direct-hire remote work opportunity.

• Salary is between $100k to $130k based on experience.
• Bonus on projects that are completed
• Will be working primarily on federal government health care proejcts such as VA Hospitals, performing renovations. This experience is highly preferred.
• This is a remote (work from home) role with once a month visit to building construction projects in the Midwest, USA,

Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager:

• Participates in project estimating and proposal preparation to the extent required.
• Responsibel for writing change orders and building schedules
• Reviews assigned project(s) after awarded to help define project scope, assist in determining work packages, and to help develop schedules, and budgets.
• Has regular contact with the client representative to obtain the more detailed information required to assure that engineering decisions on project/implementation meet client operational needs and are in line with the contractual scope of work.
• Establishes client liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date, completion date and work progress.
• Delays and cost overruns, at best, are entirely avoided, or, at worst, kept to a minimum.
• Manpower, equipment, materials, and quality problems are recognized for timely intervention and resolution.

Qualifications for Construction Project Manager:

• 5 plus years commercial construction project management experience is required
• 2 plus years' experience working on federalgovernment projects is highly preferred
• Bachelor s degree in engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred.
• Experience in Bluebeam, MS Proejct or P6 is required.
