The Position:
Terra is currently seeking an experienced commercial construction Project Manager (PM) to join the Tenant Interiors (TI) Team. Assigned projects for this role are categorized as tenant improvements within Class A, B and C commercial real-estate buildings, financial institutions, retail, corporate office, and/or healthcare facilities.
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of multiple construction projects to ensure that objectives of the projects are accomplished by performing the duties and responsibilities listed below. This would include estimating, budgeting, managing budgets and schedule development, permitting, construction and project closeout.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare budgets, detailed cost estimates, bids and proposals as required for each project to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Independently able to manage a complete project from onset through completion.
· Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control.
· Ability to read and understand project owner specifications and drawings.
· Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly while looking for ways to continuously improve.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
· Be client-driven, display a high-level of professionalism, honesty and respect and aspire to “do the right thing” at all times.
· Foster and build relationships with owners, design partners, trade partners and suppliers.
· Reliable, results-oriented and self-directed.
· Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of project management software such as Procore is required, knowledge of CMIC is a plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
· Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
