You must be in or able to commute to the Dallas area daily to be considered for this position. The Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing and performing the daily QA QC responsibilities of specific projects to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the construction specifications. The Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager role includes direct oversight and review of the entire documentation, and physical inspections are conducted in accordance with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control project plan., but are not limited to: Job Duties and Responsibilities The Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager's role includes direct oversight and review of the entire documentation. Physical inspections are conducted in accordance with the project plan. Implement project schedules and coordinate with entire construction teams. Have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the contract, each subcontract and the plans and specs to assist the project manager and superintendents in the development of the on-site procedures Attend OAC meetings and communicate project progress, answer questions, and address concerns Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project-specific Quality Assurance Quality Control reports Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specs by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary Direct Field Personnel in accordance with the project plan and schedule Conduct and document weekly QA/QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes as described in project-specific contract documents Provide daily QA/QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confront non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project Coordinate and document the testing and commissioning of building systems Perform Quality Assurance Quality Control testing and inspection in adherence with contract requirements and company best practices Supervisory experience developing and implementing Quality Assurance Quality Control Programs to ensure compliance with contract documents Technical Skills Requirements OSHA 30 Certification Procore Knowledge and Experience Read and Interpret Plans and Specs Bluebeam Experience Microsoft Office Suite Efficiency Presentation Skills Computer knowledge and Efficiency Understand Construction Law Qualifications 6-8 years of relevant construction experience Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Superior communication skills Has a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
