Visit us online at www.arcxis.com.General Overview of Position This position will provide coordination and monitoring of all Third Party Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) services for projects assigned by the Vice President of Quality Assurance/Technical Services (VPQA). These projects may include local and remote projects with elements of coordination within regional/market based scheduling, field operations, reporting, and accounting. This position shall manage scope and critical path for assigned projects to ensure that all services and SOW are delivered per contract and schedule in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). In addition, the position shall entail periodic site audits, with or without local field observers present, occurring as assigned by the VPQA.The ideal candidate shall have effective written and oral communication skills, be able to review and analyze information used to plan and schedule construction projects, generate forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects. Core Functions and Metrics 1. Pre-Construction Planning
- Review Contracts/SOW
- Coordinate pre-con meetings
- Manage pre-con deliverables
2. Scheduling
- Maintains regular contact with site contacts, local field observers and local Central Scheduling (CS) team to track construction progress and readiness of observations and re-observations.
- Communicates necessary scheduling changes/requests to CS or otherwise completes scheduling changes/requests per SOP.
3. Site Observation
- Works with field observer to ensure necessary observations are loaded on Onyx mobile application to complete observations.
- Provides technical support to field observers.
- Performs daily site visits for performance of internal QA and completion of contracted observation services at projects within approximately 100-mile radius of home.
4. Project Management
- Reviews observation reports and scheduling matrix to validate observations are being properly documented and that contracted Third Party QA/QC services being complete per contract and SOW.
- Alerts field observers and local field operations management personnel of improper data collection (such as poor photo collection, mis-identification of construction deficiencies, missed deficiencies, etc.).
- Provides recommendations for additional training for field observers to local field operations management personnel.
5. Reporting
- Provides weekly status report for communities of observation results, status, trends and alerts to areas that may be missed.
- Manages and distributes final lot reports/letters per SOP.
6. Operational Development
- Provide regular updates on these Core Functions and Metrics to the VPQA
- Develop and implement SOP procedures for long term departmental growth
- Assist in the development of Quality Assurance Plan
- Development of performance and control metrics and reports
RequirementsEducation & ExperienceEducation Level
- High school diploma, or equivalent (GED, Trade School, etc.)
Experience
- High school diploma, or equivalent (GED, Trade School, etc.)
- Ten (10) years of construction experience and/or five (5) years of field experience supported with degree in related field of study
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, written, and electronically (email, text, phone)
- Able to perform training of client and Arcxis' field observers in the field and through digital mediums
- Able to speak in front of medium to large groups of people for training and information delivery purposes at office meetings, online/onsite conferences, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of basic math skills
- Must be able to demonstrate basic common sense of safety on a jobsite
- Continually demonstrate the ability to maneuver within the within confined spaces of building being inspected (attic, frame home, finished home, etc.)
- Demonstrate smart phone and computer literacy (Android, Salesforce, Outlook, Microsoft Suite)
- Ability to collaborate with internal departments and field staff, to effectively complete all service delivery as required by contract
- Ability to track and analyze data and report findings in a logical manner
- Work around unexpected construction changes and cancelations
- Skilled in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Continually able to remain efficient and professional under pressure
- Expert knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets such as MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Salary Description $75,000 - $90,000 per year
