Job Description :

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare resource and cost-loaded baseline schedules for projects over $10 million as a subcontractor or over $50 million as a General Contractor.
  • Coordinate with field staff to update and analyze periodic schedule updates.
  • Prepare monthly updates including graphics, resource curves, and narratives.
  • Recognize historical trends and provide predictive forecasting for projects; monitor and modify schedule projections accordingly.
  • Provide time impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities, and proactively develop mitigation strategies for the Project Management Team.
  • Coach project teams in the interpretation, development, and application of schedule risk.
  • Assist challenged projects with scheduling audits and support.
  • Experience in using and implementing requirements from Federal and Local CPM scheduling specifications.
  • Understanding of CPM, LBMS, and Takt scheduling theory, level of detail, and execution.

Qualifications

  • Prefer a bachelor s degree in business, engineering, or construction management, or substitute trade experience at a senior level in lieu of formal education requirements.
  • 5-10 years experience using Oracle Primavera P6 or OPC (Oracle Primavera Cloud) software.
  • 5 years experience preferred in the MEP industry or experience as a general contractor with MEP interfaces.
  • Estimating, planning, and scheduling of major construction projects.
  • Participation in General Contractor or Subcontractor negotiations relative to time impacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word software.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting Time Impact Analysis.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with junior and senior staff, General Contractors, other subcontractors, and project Owners.
  • Ability to train junior staff in preparing and maintaining P6 schedules.
  • Ability to understand the sequence and precursor activities to MEP work is a plus.
  • Ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.
  • Expert knowledge of construction specifications, contract documents, building materials, methods, and procedures, and the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and proposal documents.

Salary: Up to $140K
