Position Overview: The Construction Specialist - Flooring position uses their trade skills, experience, and acquired knowledge to efficiently and productively complete assigned projects. This individual will possess a high level of knowledge in flooring materials, tools, building methods, and safety procedures. This position is committed to excellent customer service, continuous improvement, and attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities:
Job Site
* Perform skilled installation of carpet, wood, tile, vinyl plank, laminate, and other flooring materials.
* Prepares surfaces for installation and accurately measures flooring materials.
* Ensures timely and high-quality completion of assigned projects while following safety protocols.
* Maintains all company equipment and a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck.
Documentation
* Documents pre-existing conditions and daily activities.
* Performs job completion procedures as required by Paul Davis and industry specifications.
Communication and Teamwork
* Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule
* Communicates with other Paul Davis team members, customers, subcontractors, and material vendors.
* Assist in warehousing tasks, facility related tasks, and other team members when needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Insurable driver's license
Preferred:
* Experience within remodeling and/or restoration
* Current IICRC Certifications in Water and Fire
Physical Requirements:
* Walk and stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to climb ladders and work from an aerial lift when necessary.
* Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, and crawling.
* Work with materials over your head for short periods of time.
* Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly or 75 pounds occasionally
