About the Client

My client a growing general contractor are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of industrial tilt-up projects.

As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to quality control and safety.

About the Role

Project Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

Site Supervision:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, including excavation, foundation work, structural steel erection, and exterior finishes.
  • Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Resolve construction-related issues and problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections to verify that work meets quality standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure project success.

Safety Management:

  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety training for all site personnel.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the industrial construction industry, with a strong focus on tilt-up construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
