About the Client
My client a growing general contractor are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of industrial tilt-up projects.
As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to quality control and safety.
About the Role
Project Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Site Supervision:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, including excavation, foundation work, structural steel erection, and exterior finishes.
- Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all safety regulations.
- Resolve construction-related issues and problems in a timely and efficient manner.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections to verify that work meets quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure project success.
Safety Management:
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety training for all site personnel.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the industrial construction industry, with a strong focus on tilt-up construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
