Job Description :
Overview:Superintendent will work with the construction team and outside contractors in a wide range of multimillion-dollar building projects within a mission critical data center environment. Primary responsibilities include scheduling and supervision of subcontractors, performing quality control duties, and ensuring work is being performed on schedule and within budget.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities applicable to work being performed.
  • Ensure that all subcontractors are properly executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
  • Coordinate all required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team.
  • Communicate with project team regarding RFI's and material submittals.
  • Perform job progress reports and identify punch list items.
  • Assist in the buyout of projects with an emphasis on carpentry, masonry, and structural steel.
  • Create and reinforce a culture of safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of ten years relevant experience in the construction industry. Prior involvement in mission critical or data center projects preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the installation for structural steel, concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs.
  • Experience in the supervision of major electrical and mechanical installations.
  • Understanding of Mass Building Code, industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements. Minimum of OSHA 30.
  • Current Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor's license.
  • Required to pass drug and background check.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Committed to safety at all times.
  • Ability to use company designated software, construction management software (Procore) and e-mail on a daily basis.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must comply with all company conduct, safety, and security policies.
