  • Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and tasks to maintain seamless daily operations.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, addressing delays to keep timelines on track.
  • Oversee budget adherence, implementing cost-effective strategies without sacrificing quality or safety.
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA standards and conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for stakeholders, resolving issues and ensuring smooth communication.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, progress updates, and change orders using tools like Procore.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5-10+ years of construction management or site supervision, preferably in wood-frame residential projects.

  • Experience in historical restoration and redevelopment is preferred, as this project involves the restoration of four historic buildings.
  • Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of podium construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Competencies:
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes in Connecticut.
