- Thoroughly and completely know and understand the contract, each subcontract, and the plans and specifications to assist the Project Manager in developing the on-site procedures.
- Provide leadership to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with on-site staff and to promote a positive project environment.
- Manage site logistics Conduct preconstruction meetings with new and existing subcontractors and superintendents prior to the start of each new phase of the work to discuss issues.
- Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and/or inhibit the Logical progress of work.
- Perform the regular paperwork duties, including keeping daily records (daily reports) of field activity, including manpower, deliverables, and other relevant information.
- Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and trade contractors, working with the safety support personnel as a resource.
- Establish the punch list process and close-out procedures with the project team.
- Maintain the project as-built drawings on a daily basis.
- Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranties.
