Construction Superintendent - Synergy Professionals : Job Details

Birmingham-based General Contractor, specializing in commercial construction, is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join their team. Nealy all projects are within an hour of Birmingham.

Typical projects range from $1M–$10M and include a mix of commercial, retail, light industrial/manufacturing, and warehouse builds. Join a team that values professional growth and long-term relationships while offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Role and Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site self-performing crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure project safety, adherence to schedule, and budget compliance.
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Oversee projects primarily within a one-hour radius of Birmingham, eliminating the need for extended travel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years' experience working with a General Contractor on commercial construction projects.
• At least 5 years' experience on ground-up commercial construction projects. (Residential experience will not be considered.)
• A strong desire to help the company grow while advancing your career.
• You must currently live within commuting distance of Birmingham, AL. No relocation or travel expenses will be paid.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $110K - $125K (commensurate with experience).
