About the Job
The Construction technology analyst is responsible for supporting the operational excellence of all departments, projects, and teams through support and maintenance of technology for that need. The analyst should have a strong operational background (project management and budgeting) and be an advocate for advancing the usage of technology to solve pain points. The construction technology analyst is aligned with and supervised both by the IT department and senior project management representative assigned to oversee construction technology.
Procore Specific Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Procore support tickets. Including but not limited to escalating, resolving, and troubleshooting reported user issues.
- Serve as the Procore company administrator, responsible for maintaining all company settings and standardizations.
- Assist the Construction Technology Committee in establishing all company setting and standardizations for Procore.
- Perform quarterly project check-ins and audits on Procore usage, at a minimum.
- Assist the Construction Technology Committee in establishing all company setting and standardizations for Procore.
- Work with the quality department on the establishment of standard QA/QC inspections and tracking key performance indicators.
- Work with the safety department to standardize safety inspections and track key performance indicators.
- Work with assigned project management staff to standardize the usage of bidding and estimating tools within Procore.
- Work with the accounting department to standardize the usage of financial tools within Procore and Sage.
- Work with leadership to create standard project-level and company-level reporting.
- With leadership, conduct deep dive discussions with Procore CSM/SPC teams on product improvement gap list and roadmap items.
- Beta test new features within Procore.
Technology Specific Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for application related user issues, as delegated by the IT service desk team.
- Work with leadership and IT to establish overall technology usage and best practices.
- Research, pilot, and test new innovative technologies and their integration with Procore and Sage, if applicable/available.
- Conduct training for all technology programs for internal staff. This includes but is not limited to Procore, Sage, BlueBeam, etc.
- Support the implementation of new applications, as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- After-hours availability to address critical user needs.
- Must have travel flexibility, personal mobility/on-site engagement with business/field.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment.
- Experience with Power Platforms preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well with others.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in construction management, information systems and/or technology.
- Experience providing end user support for Procore preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years maintaining and supporting technical applications.
- Minimum of two (2) years construction industry experience.
