These include 2D and 3D grade-control, paving control, site positioning, compact machine solutions, construction asset management, as well as supporting infrastructure and data prep solutions.Responsibilities:Provide training expertise in the areas of Heavy Civil Construction Software applications and Site Positioning SystemsSuccessfully provide training and support for Trimble Software Survey products (including: Trimble Business Center, RTK GPS and Robotic Instrumentation)Market, coordinate and facilitate multi-day Trimble Business Center and SCS900 classroom training sessions at various locations throughout SITECH's territoryDevelop and communicate training calendar/schedule in a timely mannerAchieve and maintain factory certification as a Trimble Certified Trainer for Business Center software as well as SCS900 softwareProvide technical assistance for all software and site positioning products offered by SITECHBecome and remain a technical expert/resource for SITECH and its customersProvide customer support on all guidance and software products, providing phone support as well as on-site troubleshooting as requiredProvide support for in-house and field service personnel on all guidance and software products, providing phone support as well as on-site troubleshooting as requiredKeep informed with new product updates and send relevant information to the appropriate internal and external individuals or groupsMaximize SITECH software and site positioning equipment sales based on established targetsWork as technical liaison to the sales force to promote sales activities and facilitate deal closings for Trimble software and site positioning systemsProvide one-on-one customer training sessions for Software and Site Positioning Systems upon delivery of new product to customersIdentify and prioritize training needs for key customer accounts and determine best delivery methods (Instructor Led, WebEx, Trimble Personnel Involved, etc.)Assist sales force through following up on leads for software and site positioning systemsAttend and actively participate in all Open House events and trade-show events throughout SITECH's territoryCollaborate with Cat Dealer Sales Reps to develop relationships for profitable growthQualifications:Required: experience with Site Positioning Systems / Trimble Software / SurveyingStrong mechanical aptitude and technical acumen requiredAbility to train customers on product highly preferredStrong communication, presentation, writing, analysis, & organizational skills requiredPhysical demands include walking, climbing, bending and liftingProficiency in PC use, including MS Office & ability to learn new PC ApplicationsMust possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel regularly (some overnight)Physical Requirements:Standing and walkingLifting (up to 60lbs.)Carrying (up to 50lbs.)Push/pull (up to 80lbs.)Sitting, rotation, and forward bending (sitting and standing)Hand coordination and reachingGrip (30lbs. with both hands, 80lbs. with preferred/single hand)Foot pedal operationCrawling, low work (kneeling), and awkward positioningOutdoor work (as required)Reasonable accommodations made as needed.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender or gender status, disability, genetic information, otherwise qualified disabled or veteran status, or any other protected class as designated by Federal, State and/or local law.
