And we are growing!The RoleWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA/Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on regulatory reporting using Axiom. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and regulatory experts to ensure that our financial reports comply with relevant regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, testing the Axiom system for accuracy, and ensuring that our reporting processes meet all regulatory standards.We are looking for a consultant who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Quality Assurance & Testing:* Develop and execute test cases to validate the functionality and accuracy of regulatory reports generated by the Axiom system.* Perform system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that reports meet business and regulatory specifications.* Identify and document defects, work with development teams to resolve issues, and re-test fixes.* Ensure that all reports comply with internal and external audit requirements.* Perform data reconciliation and verification to ensure that regulatory reports are consistent with the underlying data.* Assist in the ROI / planning to automate test scripts for regression testing suite.2. Requirements Analysis & Implementation Strategy:* Translate regulatory reporting requirements into clear and actionable user stories.* Work with stakeholders to ensure all use cases are articulated into the test plan and identify any requirement gaps.* Collaborate with the requirements and development teams in whiteboarding sessions to plan for the scope, implementation, work breakdown and test strategy for the product delivery.3. Documentation & Reporting:* Create user manuals, training materials, and knowledge base articles for end users.* Produce test reports and track the progress of testing phases, highlighting issues and risks.3. Stakeholder Collaboration:* Work closely with project managers, IT teams, and regulatory compliance experts to ensure the successful implementation of regulatory reporting solutions.* Communicate testing progress, issues, and solutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.4. Continuous Improvement:* Stay updated on new regulatory requirements and best practices in regulatory reporting.* Proactively identify opportunities for improving the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of regulatory reporting processes.* Assist with troubleshooting and resolving post-implementation issues related to regulatory reporting.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.* 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or Regulatory Reporting Analyst.* Experience with regulatory reporting, financial reporting standards, and compliance regulations (e.g., Basel III, Solvency II, MiFID II, etc.).* Experience with the Axiom software suite or similar regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., Wolters Kluwer, Finastra) is highly desirable.* Knowledge of banking or financial industry data, including accounting, risk, and financial systems.* Proficiency in Axiom or similar regulatory reporting tools is a plus.* Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.* Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and analysis.* Familiarity with software testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Selenium).* Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex financial data and regulatory requirements.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.* Strong organizational and documentation skills* The embodiment of Cognizant's Core Values of: Work as one, Raise the bar, dare to innovate, do the right thing, own itPreferred Qualifications:* Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or PRM are a plus.* Experience working in a regulatory compliance or financial reporting environment in the banking, insurance, or investment sectors.Work Authorization* Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)The Cognizant community:We are a high caliber team who appreciate and support one another.
