About the Role

Primient is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Six Sigma Black Belt to lead and execute Lean and Six Sigma projects within our continuous process manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, capable of leading cross-functional teams to achieve significant business results.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage Lean and Six Sigma projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools to identify, analyze, and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor Green Belts and other team members in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, and engineering, to drive project success.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement metrics to monitor project performance and ensure continuous improvement.

Knowledge Requirements

  • Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of Lean principles and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
  • Continuous Process Manufacturing: Understanding of continuous process manufacturing environments and related challenges.
  • Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.

  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
  • Six Sigma Certification: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Lean Certification: Lean certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Work Experience

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
  • Project Leadership: Proven track record of leading and successfully completing Lean and Six Sigma projects.
  • Mentorship: Experience in training and mentoring team members in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Change Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and drive change within an organization.

Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $112,139.20 - $140,174.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individualcompensation willbe determinedbased on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role'sresponsibilities.During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.​
