  • Utilize Lean tools to lead improvements projects that increase product quality and efficiencies to drive business results.
  • Create a detailed project plan to track progress effectively and communicate progress to key stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Coach, deploy and learn Lean Principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Train, coach and mentor employees on Lean principles, concepts, behaviors, and tools that enhance the existing culture elevating it to one of continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure Lean tools and practices are implemented correctly.
  • Provide training for new employees about Lean practices, including time management and prioritization skills.
  • Perform audits to identify waste in processes or procedures and recommend changes to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with the Operations leadership team to develop annual plans in support of continuous improvements that drive key metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, employee engagement, growth and identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Skill and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Demonstrate knowledge of lean concepts and principles with the ability to lead, teach, and coach employees on all aspects of lean manufacturing implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, root cause analysis and cause prevention.
  • Preference for experience with database, Access, Macros, Minitab MRP.
  • Ability to work independently and show strong initiative with ownership of ideas and projects.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals form a wide range of backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to be flexible, adaptable, and manage change of priorities and direction as needed while allowing for optimum effectiveness
