As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in implementing the company's strategic initiatives using lean manufacturing practices. You'll help develop and execute strategic plans while mastering tools like Standard Work, Kanban, TPM, 5S, Visual Management, SMED, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping.

Description

  • Develop and oversee a roadmap for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate improvement activities and guide team members in executing these efforts effectively.
  • Foster the adoption of lean principles across the organization, providing coaching to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize proven methodologies to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve key business objectives.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by driving operational efficiency and minimizing waste on a daily basis.

Profile

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, especially in engineering or manufacturing operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment, with aerospace metal machine shop experience being a plus.
  • Proficiency in change management and a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • A minimum of 3 years working with LEAN tools and methodologies, including visual management, value stream mapping, transactional processes, and problem-solving; strong Kaizen expertise is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, with proven ability to train, motivate, and lead teams in lean initiatives and a demonstrated history of successfully driving continuous improvement efforts.
