Job Summary: Graver Technologies is looking for Continuous Improvement Intern to work with our Manufacturing Team. The Intern will support our Continuous Improvement activities, mainly to drive lean processes, enhance automation, and execute various CI initiatives. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, reporting directly to our Manager of Continuous Improvement, and an opportunity to apply book learning to real world challenges. The intern will have a project that provides a meaningful impact to the business and will present their project /findings to leadership. Graver Technologies is a serves the industrial filtration, separation, and purification needs of companies around the globe. Our products are used to efficiently remove particulate and soluble contaminants from a broad range of fluids and gases. Graver Technologies is part of Marmon Water Inc., one of eleven sectors of Marmon Holding, Inc (www.marmon.com) Job Requirements:

  • Set up and monitor experiments and tests; gather manufacturing data
  • Record data generated and analyze findings
  • Execute tasks and sub-projects in support of capital / construction projects
  • Report and review results with appropriate team members
  • Make a formal presentation to site leadership discussing their projects, approach, key findings, value, and the results their project provides to the organization
  • Other duties may be assigned as required
Technical Skill and Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability in general laboratory techniques and/or engineering
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Ability to follow general plant and laboratory safety procedures
  • Knowledgeable with computer software such as MS Excel and Word; CAD experience is a plus
  • Must be able to lift 20+ lbs. on occasion
Education Requirement:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited BS Industrial or Mechanical Engineering program (or similar) with two or more years completed
