For more information about our organization, please visit our INPRS Careers Page: Overview:A Continuous Improvement Specialist serves as a consultant to a business or agency in training, leading and consulting on Improvement Projects. Identify opportunities to improve quality, increase efficiencies, reduce cost, mitigate risk, and/or enhance customer experience. Leading projects will require facilitating team discussion and use of tools through a standard problem-solving approach.Salary:The salary for this position traditionally starts at $52,000 - $66,700 per year, depending on years of experience.A Day in the Life:The essential elements of the job duties:* Good working knowledge of process design and/or process reengineering* Good working knowledge of quality principles, problem-solving methodology and project management methodologies* Change management* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills with the demonstrated ability to strike the right tone and select the best medium of messaging* A self-starter, driven by a standard of excellence* Ability to identify, plan, and implement projects in a timely manner* Ability to lead small teams in a problem-solving investigation* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within the agency* Ability to work under pressure of formal schedules and deadlines* Highly effective and efficient organizational and time management skills* Ability to develop and maintain good work relationships and be an effective team member* Ability to work independently using critical thinking* Facilitate meetings and/or projects, determine audience and lean/six sigma tools appropriate for a particular discussion* Adapt facilitation style to engage a variety of group settings.
