Conducting branch audits and trainings, and providing operational support are essential to this position. This is a labor-intensive position that requires heavy lifting. Individuals are regularly on their feet throughout the day and may work at heights as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
- Implement and audit maintenance of KPI Boards.
- Responsible for CI Program training. Audit events for accuracy and sustainability.
- Implement and audit production recap and current day production levels.
- Lead and audit daily team meetings.
- Work with team and operations leadership to analyze and resolve minor to moderate challenges, develop and implement improvements, and maintain a safe work environment.
SAFETY:
- Prepare and conduct monthly safety training sessions for all employees where relevant.
- Lead injury and incident inquiries, evaluations and reporting.
- Enforce and adhere to OrePac's policies, procedures, and safety program, as well as applicable state and federal laws.
QUALITY CONTROL:
- Responsible for employee training and audits of process, product, and acceptability of end products.
- Perform shop assessments and make recommendations for equipment, tools and man power.
SYSTEMS SUPPORT (WMS, BISTRACK, MARKETPLACE):
- Investigate, support, and resolve system errors.
- Conduct employee training on proper system processes focused on operational efficiency, inventory, and order entry accuracy.
- Document, in detail, systems process resolutions for training and compliance.
OTHER:
- Forklift duties may be assigned to this position. Any assigned forklift duties will first require taking and passing a forklift training course and obtaining a certificate. Forklift duties will include staging and/or stacking material neatly and safely, operating the forklift in a safe manner, filling the forklift with propane fuel, and regularly checking the forklift fluid levels.

- Ability to re-prioritize as necessary throughout the day with minimal supervision and effectively communicate changes to the team. Must be flexible and ready to adapt within a fast-paced working environment while maintaining quality results and achieving operational goals.

- Ability to adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated by OrePac's safety program. Ability to perform all essential responsibilities of job in a safe manner.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in any field (preferred).
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be accepted in place of the education and/or experience requirements listed for this role.

- Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, however, while in the branch warehouses and shops, the noise is loud.
- The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
- The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
- The employee may work in high or precarious places.
- This role will travel up to 10% of a month to OrePac branches.
