KDG Construction Consulting is seeking a Contract Administrator III with complex, multi-phase, multi-million-dollar construction and/or renovation projects. The ideal candidate will perform a broad range of contract administrative duties, including procurements, billings, insurance, badging, and compliance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborates with the Project Manager regarding disposition of contractual issuesPreparing Contractual CorrespondenceFacilitate the meriting process of all potential change claims made by contractors, ensuring all appropriate subject matter experts have reviewed the claimAssembling Task Orders and Change OrdersReview Concurrence Letters for conformance with contractual requirementsCommunicate all changes to budget commitments to the cost engineering team to ensure accurate and up-to-date project job costing reportingMonitoring insurance complianceEnsure proficiency and timeliness of contract administration for change documentationPrepare required reports and correspondenceAttend various meetings, including pre-bid proposal and post-bid proposal debriefingsAssist in the contract standardization processMonitor all aspects of contract complianceAssist in resolving problems and disagreements between contractorsReview contractor invoices for contractual complianceConduct closeout actions upon contract completion such as final audit, payment, etc. under the direction of personnelContribute to the advancement of PDG's goals through commitment to productive collaboration with all stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a business-related field, as well as training in procurement, contract, construction, and commercial law.Experience with project management software preferred10 years or more of experience in the administration of commercial/government contractsExperience in alternative project delivery methods including Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design Build preferredComfortable operating in a team-oriented, collaborative work environmentProduce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer service attitudeExperience in a construction office is necessaryMust be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilitiesDemonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance reviews, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous positionsEffective oral and written communication skillsMust be detail oriented and highly organizedAnticipated Salary Range: $106,000.00– 137,000.00 per year
