Configure equipment to perform to customer requirements, enable equipment in system configuration software, set operating parameters and permissions for equipment, and use system resources to troubleshoot equipment connectivity and operational issues. Measure system performance and results with specialized network software and communications tools to ensure levels of service specified in systems requirements. Respond to system alarms and resolve user trouble reports. Diagnose problems relating to ITS equipment. Subject to on-call on a rotational basis. Monitor the implementation, maintenance, and repair of ITS subsystems and equipment, including contractor and inter-division maintenance partners. Monitor and follow up on contractor maintenance efforts and department-level equipment repairs.
