Position Summary: Necco has an opportunity for a career as Contract Specialist. This role will provide the most value to the company playing a critical role in managing the lifecycle of all company contracts, including initial agreements and renewals. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with exceptional collaboration and project management skills to drive the seamless execution of contracts. Working closely with the Chief Strategy Team (C-Suite), Safety & Risk (QA), Human Resources (Our People), Information Technology (IT), Finance, and Operations, the Contract Implementation Specialist ensures alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and strategic priorities.   • Collaborate with the Contracts Review Team (Safety & Risk, HR, IT, Finance, Revenue Cycle) and Chief Strategy members to anticipate and prepare for upcoming contracts
  • Review and vet contract language, including terms and conditions, payment structures, personnel requirements, lobbying interests, and risk management considerations
  • Leverage technology platforms for communication, contract reviews, and execution
  • Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Quality, Safety and Risk Management
  • Ensure timely submission, review, and execution of all contracts
  • Notify the Contracts Review Team and key stakeholders of new and pending contract needs
  • Monitor and report any non-compliance, suspicion of abuse/neglect, fraud, or other reportable offenses as per company policies
Technical Capacity
  • Utilize technology tools to organize, store, and track contract documentation
  • Coordinate and manage the contract process flow, ensuring efficient routing for departmental reviews and approvals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract timelines, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Use project management expertise and creativity to document compliance and streamline workflows
  • Provide technical assistance and training to the Contracts Review Team and key stakeholders regarding the contract lifecycle process
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, administration, or human services preferred
  • Knowledge of and ability to navigate rules, regulations, accreditation standards and licensing requirements
  • Familiarity with Foster Care, Independent Living, Behavioral Health, and Medicaid-billable services
  • Valid driver's license
  • 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage
  • Training and Travel willingness
  • Outstanding Customer Service
  • Organizational communication skills
  • Must be self-directed
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)
