Job Description :

Job Title: Contract Specialist

Location: White Plains, NY (Candidates are REQUIRED to be local to Tri-State area)

Duration: 12 months (Contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform QA/QC on memorandums and proposals.
  • Support RFPs, including coordinating meetings, commenting on Scopes of Work (SOWs), and checking RFP packages.
  • Create and verify purchase requisitions in SAP.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across Operations, Procurement, and Legal departments.
  • Review, interpret, and research contract terms and conditions.
  • Monitor contract expirations and ensure timely renewals or adjustments.
  • Learn and implement new software to improve contract processes and management.
  • Develop contracting mechanisms and strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Design and streamline processes and procedures to reduce cycle time.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize MS 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint Lists, Power Automate).
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn SAP ERP.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex policies and create efficient processes and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering) required.
  • 5–10 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and/or project management.
  • Experience in standardizing processes and procedures is preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
