IT Contracts Management Analyst
Duration - 9 months+
Location - Fairview, OR- 100% onsite to start, then remote after 2-3 months (down to 3 days/ week onsite hybrid)
The role involves IT project contracts analysis, management, and financial and cost modeling, with a focus on reviewing and assessing IT project contracts to assist clients in deciding whether to renew, modify, pause, or terminate them. The candidate must have the ability to work independently while effectively communicating with project stakeholders and executive leadership. Ideally, the candidate will have prior experience in IT project contract management to provide strategic recommendations for contract modifications, renewals, or terminations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Contracts Analyst to join our team. This role involves reviewing, tracking, and managing our customers' IT contracts across various projects within the department. The IT Contracts Analyst will assess financial and costing models to evaluate contract performance, ensuring alignment with budget constraints and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in IT contracts, and the ability to provide actionable recommendations on whether to pursue, pause, or terminate specific projects or contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Review, analyze, and track IT contracts to ensure compliance with terms and alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor contract lifecycles, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, or terminations as needed.
Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and related documentation.
Financial Analysis:
Develop and run financial models to assess the costs and value of current contracts.
Analyze budget constraints and recommend adjustments to optimize IT spending.
Provide insights into financial impacts of pursuing, pausing, or terminating specific contracts or projects.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to understand project goals and priorities.
Evaluate contract risks, opportunities, and alignment with IT department objectives.
Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on contract decisions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between vendors, IT teams, procurement, and finance departments.
Ensure clear communication regarding contract terms, performance metrics, and cost considerations.
Support contract negotiation efforts by providing financial and analytical insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in contract analysis, procurement, financial analysis, or a related role (preferably within IT).
Strong knowledge of IT contracts, financial modeling, and budgeting processes.
Proficiency in tools like Excel, financial modeling software, and contract management systems.
Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software, and service contracts.
Certification in contract management or project management (e.g., CPCM, PMP).
Experience with ERP or financial systems.
