Job Summary:
Seeking a Process Controls Engineer to lead and support E/I, DCS, and PLC controls at the plant. This role interfaces with the Corporate Controls group and suppliers and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Assess and enhance manufacturing processes, instruments, and equipment efficiency.
- Innovation & Automation: Recommend and implement software solutions and automated processes.
- Project Management: Manage capital projects from concept to completion, staying within budget.
- Technical Support: Provide expertise in PLC troubleshooting, alarm rationalization, and DCS systems.
- Training & Documentation: Develop operator training materials and maintain process control documentation.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations; support site safety goals.
- Collaboration: Work with Corporate Controls and plant teams to implement new technologies and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years' experience in process control engineering (chemical operations preferred).
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC, Delta V, and DCS systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance.
