Control Engineer - Metric Geo : Job Details

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control system applications: Electrical Design, PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development.
• Act as Lead Engineer responsible for all technical aspects of the project and communication with client.
• Develop project documentation such as functional specifications, meeting minutes, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and project closure.
• Responsible for project installation, startups, and implementation of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

Remote Work: Up to 40% (2 days a week) working remote an option for the right candidate

Required

• 2 - 5 years of industry experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, AutoCAD electrical drawing design PLC programming preferred in Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron, or Siemens
• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline
• Working knowledge of NEC Code and NFP79
• Developed and implemented applications on control systems platform
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects
• Ability to travel to and work at client locations (20% same day travel / 20% occasional overnight travel)
• Lives in or around the Columbus, Ohio Metro area
• US Citizenship or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without a Visa.
