As a Control Engineer you will provide technical expertise to develop and implement complex manufacturing operations and support sophisticated machines and related equipment. Your primary responsibility is for equipment safety and reliability, process parameter conformance, integrity of machine data, and technological innovation and will also be seen as an expert in a wide array of fields including safety standard conformance, electrical design, controls architecture, programming, and networking.

What You Will Do:
- Lead various automation & robotic integration projects
- Lead new technology initiatives on industrial robotics, networking, and process control
- Design, install, and validate electrical architecture for new and existing manufacturing equipment
- Create specifications in support of equipment build and upgrades
- Implement, maintain, and update furnace equipment safety systems critical to operations
- Troubleshooting of database and reporting platforms
- Troubleshooting machine programming, and material handling/robotics
- Collect and report production from various systems to improve quality and process efficiencies
- Implement and maintain cyber security practices to protect intellectual property and machine assets
- Participate on many projects concurrently and with cross-functional teams
- Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
- Directing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.
- Manages multiple or complex engineering projects involving multiple functions, organizations, products, or value chains.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited program with an Engineering, Electrical, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Project Management:
- Champions organization's project management methodology, tools, and techniques.
- Manages multiple high-risk, high-cost projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Coaches others in open communication among project stakeholders.
- Monitors major projects for critical path and actual status versus planned.
- Consults on project planning and management of high-risk, high-impact projects.
- Monitors industry for fresh approaches and tools for project management.
Troubleshooting Technical Problems:
- Evaluates business impact of failure and the criticality and timing of needed resolution.
- Resolves difficult or high-impact equipment and systems problems.
- Monitors machine performance and history; addresses excessive maintenance or repair needs.
- Coaches others how to resolve integration or communications problems in multi-vendor environment.
- Applies specific techniques for isolating a problem and defining resolution approach.
- Uses advanced diagnostic techniques and tools for unusual or performance-related problems.
- Required technical skills:
- PLCs/HMI - All versions of RSLogix and FactoryTalk View Studio
- Fanuc and ABB Robots
- Stratix ethernet switches, and Ethernet/IP protocol
- Oracle and SQLServer databases
- Failure mode and effects analysis for industrial equipment (RIA/ANSI)
- Knowledge of electrical safety systems, controls and network architecture, as well as industrial networking
