JSM Airport Services, LLC (a subsidiary of JSM & Associates, LLC), a growing company headquartered in Central Florida, is seeking a professional, skilled Control Room Operator to become a member of our team at the Nashville International Airport (BNA) in Nashville, TN. This full-time, non-exempt position will have varied responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the coordination of support to assist in the maintenance of the airport Baggage Handling Systems (BHS).Compensation: Paid weekly. Benefits: Full medical benefits after 60 days of employment (health, vision, dental, short term-long term)SPTO occurred starting Day 1.SPTO is available to use after 6 months of employmentExpanding company with professional growth potentialUniforms provided by company$125.00 towards work boots (Grainger)7 Paid Holidays401KTuition Reimbursement ProgramCompany paid Life Insurance Key Accountabilities: Report on BHS (Baggage Handling System) alarms/events to inspect, clear blockages/jams, and repair failed equipment as appropriate.Coordinate personnel and resources to ensure minimum service requirements are maintained.Coordinate with stakeholders and BHS related inquiries by person/telephone in a courteous and efficient manner.Control Room Operator(s) shall be always attentive of the condition of the entire BHS to respond immediately to events and/or possible blockages/events and/or unusual behavior, including but not limited to: JamsE-StopsFaultsSecurityEquipment malfunctionIncorrect operationIncorrect routing of baggagePower outages Control Room Operator(s) shall be proficient and trained on proper use of all equipment and interfaces within the BHS control room, including but not limited to: Workstations based on Microsoft Windows operating systemsCustomized applications to monitor BHS operationsCustomized applications to monitor and identify baggage routingRadiosTelephone systemsReporting/Recording the schedule of eventsStartup proceduresImplement call tree notifications based on equipment failuresImplement fallback procedures in accordance with adopted practicesOther duties as necessary to support control room operations Required Work Experience: Experience with computer software applications (i.e., MS Office, ERP, etc)Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress, offering solutions to resolve issues.Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.Possess the versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.Ability to work independently, as well as a member of various teams. Qualifications: Must be able to work as scheduled (this is a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation), with the successful candidate working Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, 11:30 hours/day, 3 days/week and 5:30 hours/day, 1 day/week (Wednesday is the short day of the four days) . . .and will include holidays if the holiday falls on a scheduled workday.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.Must be able to undergo a 10-year background check and be able to obtain/maintain security clearance.Must possess a valid drivers' license (with a clean driving record). Educational Requirements: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). The successful candidate must be able to pass a drug screening, a drivers' license check and validation, federal fingerprinting, and security threat assessment, as well as airport security badging.#J-18808-Ljbffr
