The Control Systems Engineer, as part of the Operations and Technical department, will interface with a diverse team of personnel such as manufacturing plant operations and technical/engineering, manufacturing process experts, to maintain and improve a variety of process control systems including Honeywell Experion PKS or other Distributed Control Systems, Safety Instrumented Systems, PLC's as well as Windows or Linux based workstations and servers.
- Minimum of a B. S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in roles with direct accountability for process controls
- Minimum 4 years of experience plant manufacturing experience
- Proven (process control) experience in multiple new projects
- Proven experience in maintenance of existing control systems
- Proven experience with systems from global suppliers like Emerson and Honeywell and integration with PLC systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing and troubleshooting process control on Honeywell Experion PKS system
QUALIFICATIONS THAT WILL SET YOU APART:
- Experience with Process Safety Management in high hazard processes
- Experience with VMware/virtual machines
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2018, 10)
- Experience with TCP/IP-based network switches and routers
- Experience with Communication Buses such as Modbus, DeviceNet, OPC, Profibus, etc.
- Experience with VBA and/or Java
- Experience with S88 batch standard
- Experience with ISA 18.2 alarm management
