Controller - Confidential : Job Details

As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including general ledger accounting, account analysis, and financial reporting

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data

- Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely payment of invoices

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets

- Provide guidance and support to the finance team in day-to-day operations

- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits

- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards

- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Sage) to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or related field

- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulatory reporting requirements

- Proven experience in general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and account reconciliation

- Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data

- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Sage) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
