Job Description :

Our client an established manufacturer is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Controller to assist in all aspects of financial management including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. In this role you will play an important role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Support the Controller with the monthly ERP close process to help ensure the consistency and accuracy of the company's financial information as well as assist with transactions during the normal course of business.

• Assist with the company budgets and control procedures for adherence to agreed spending.

• Maintain internal control, systems and procedures throughout all of accounting.

• Transmit accurate and complete financial information to leadership in accordance with schedule.

• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations.

• Review, approve and create journal entries.

• Help establish and maintain accurate records of all capital additions and depreciation.

• Help with the daily processes around the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Assist with the annual audit with the external auditors.

Qualifications include but not limited to:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification (or in process).

• Minimum 1-2 years' working experience in accounting or finance.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary: $95K-$110
