Job Description We are looking for an experienced Controller who loves numbers and spreadsheets. With 2025 poised to be a year of significant growth and transformation, we need a skilled leader in finance accounting and reporting functions. In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining clear communication with the leadership team, staff, and oversee the day-to-day accounting work as well as financial analytics, assist with budgeting, forecasting and various financial modeling tasks. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty:
  • Support VP Finance in ensuring that general ledger and all related
  • accounts have proper documentation and records for all company
  • transactions.
  • Prepares entries for the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the RES accounting principles as well as industry standards.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental work to develop more efficient procedures and optimize resources while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Handle cash reporting including lines of credit and the issuance, monitoring, and payments of company credit cards.
  • Complete monthly WIP and inventory reports.
  • Review staff accountant's workload and delivery.
  • Manage annual process of overhead inventory rate calculations.
  • Oversee government tax reporting.
  • Assist in the annual business planning and budgeting process.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Manage the annual external review process.
  • Oversee fixed asset management.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Master's degree a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of Corporate Accounting experience in an entrepreneurial company.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Cost Accounting experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to streamline accounting practices.
  • Ability to exercise judgment in performing subjective accounting analysis.
  • Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Additional Information The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $125,000 annually, and individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Pay ranges included in postings generally reflect base salary; certain positions may include bonus, commission, or additional benefits.
