Controller
Salary: $110k - $125k base + Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including GL management, accounts payable and receivable, and inventory management.
- Reconcile all general ledger accounts, resolving complex discrepancies through thorough account analysis and research.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and review accruals and various journal entries for month-end processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including managing the month-end close process.
- Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain data integrity and compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors to support annual audits and tax filings.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of managerial, hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have advanced MS Excel skills
- Highly skilled in monthly close processes, accruals preparation, General Ledger management, Journal Entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Must have strong experience utilizing QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Accounting certification, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is plus though not required
