Job Title: Controller

Location: Downtown Milwaukee, WI

Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid

Experience Level: Manager / Director (10+ years of progressive experience required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and tax compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and achieve company goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
