Job DetailsResponsibilities:

• Manage month-end close and prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts; prepare monthly financial statements, including distributing monthly revenue and expenditure reports.
• Analyze and reconcile expenditure and revenue accounts.
• Prepare sales, profitability and cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare schedules for external use and liaise between the company and outside service providers.
• Lead the monthly cash flow, inventory, fixed asset and fiscal year-end accounting.
• Proactively participate in cross-functional and company-wide initiatives.
• Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
• Use the Company ERP system to enter, track, report and analyze company financial information.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of variances.
• Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, identifying monetary resources; and recommending action plans.
• Provide ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Perform bank transactions and provide updates on accounts.
• Actively support corporate policies for safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Assist plants with understanding the components of their financials and where they are derived to assist them in managing them.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
• CPA or MBA a plus
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports.
• 5+ years' experience in a financial position
• Experience in a financial managerial position with a manufacturing company.
• Past experience performing AP and AR.
• Project Management
