Overseeing all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.2. Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.3. Leading the budgeting process, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of annual budgets.4. Preparing and presenting financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.5. Developing and implementing business strategy to drive financial performance and growth.6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial legislation and regulations.7. Managing a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.8. Working closely with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial audits.9. Identifying and implementing opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:1. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, business strategy, and financial accounting.2. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.3. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial legislation.4. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.5. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.6. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA designation would be considered an asset.7. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.9.
