Controller - EVERSTAFF : Job Details

Job DescriptionControllerDirect-Hire As our Controller, you will oversee the financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting processes of our organization. You'll be responsible for financial period closing, strategic planning, budgeting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and providing strategic insights to help guide key business decisions. • Responsible for financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls for assigned business operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP & IFRS.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledgers
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to provide financial insights and drive strategic decisions.
• Assess areas of inefficiency/underperformance and provide/implement solutions for improvement.
• Work with and mentor members of our high-performing Finance team.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors during audits and regulatory filings.
• Meet deadlines set by Group Finance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing business, including verifiable experience in a Controller role.
• Tax experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial regulations, and accounting systems.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
