Job Description :
Summary: This position is responsible for financial planning, financial statement analysis, financial reporting, EIGS (Diva) submission, ad hoc reports, and operational accounting to include inventory, plant level financial statements and budgets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the integrity of internal system financial statements and their alignment to the EIGS financial statements.
  • Responsible for the Chart of Accounts and ensuring all accounts are correctly tied to EIGS accounts.
  • EIGS uploads of actual and budget results along with reconciliation of both back to BU.
  • Develop process for Cash Forecast/Cash Flow to be used on monthly fund management report to parent company.
  • Prepare the monthly reports/schedules including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Budget to Actual and explanations of variances.
  • Act as the project manager and coordinate the annual budgeting process including the budget file submission to corporate and validating in EIGS.
  • Preparation of month end closing entries and select balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assist in JSOX compliance efforts and internal audits involving review of accounting and general controls surrounding financial statements.
  • Act as the lead for new Projects providing IRR models to show should price and should cost elements.
  • Manage and obtain approval for all requests for capital expenditures and maintain controls on all plant processes within required budget and prepare reports to summarize all business activities.
  • Tax management with outside audit firm.
  • Communication with parent company including reporting to the finance department at GHQ. Ensure compliance with the parent company's policies and procedures.
  • Other job activities as assigned.
Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred; 7-10 years' management accounting experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Previous aftermarket product management experience with engine management parts
  • Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
  • High degree of accuracy in work performed
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to be viewed as approachable and as a mentor to people on accounting issues
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet required deadlines
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex financial models
  • Ability to travel as needed
