Location: On-Site, Manassas, VA Schedule: Regular schedule, 8 hrs/day, 5 days/week Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Control Engineer with expertise in industrial automation and IIoT systems to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in an innovative environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience in machine controls, PLC programming, IIoT platforms, and integration across multiple automation systems. Key Responsibilities: Identify, program, and configure machine controllers (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff). Integrate Robots, Cobots, IMRs, and AGVs with IIoT platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve complex communication issues between machines, PLCs, and IIoT systems. Manage and execute IIoT projects, ensuring milestones are met on time. Create technical documentation, including system designs, integration plans, and user manuals. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: Industrial Automation & Control Systems: Expertise in machine controllers (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Beckhoff, etc.), protocols, and hardware for IIoT integration. IIoT Communication Protocols & Standards: In-depth knowledge of OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, and REST API. Networking & IT Skills: Strong knowledge of Ethernet/IP, fieldbus, and network security practices. IIoT Platform Expertise (Industry 4.0): Experience with IIoT solutions and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, AI/ML technologies). Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve network or connectivity issues and perform root cause analysis. Required Education & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation or Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, IIoT systems, and IoT integrations. Why Join Us?
