QualificationsAdditional Information This position requires working 100% in-person/on-site at JEP. The Controls Engineering Technician is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of controls systems and processes within ATF. Support all areas of ATF, including ISX Assembly, 12L Assembly, Test, and FPM as a member of the ATF Support Team. Key responsibilities:
- Completing improvements to PC-based systems in ATF, including Test Cells, ECM Programming, ETS Stands, Fail-safing processes, and eSBM.
- Participating in the MCR, ER, and Deviation processes.
- Reviewing documents for any impacts that will affect the functionality of production systems.
- Maintaining the fail-safe tracking system and supporting Automation HMI and PLC Systems.
- Installing and supporting Ethernet communication to PC or PLC-based equipment.
- Troubleshooting engine harnesses for Test systems or specifying designs for new product changes.
- Developing and maintaining the eSBM system.
- Actively participating in the Maximo Work Order process.
- Actively supporting New Product build processes.
