Job Title: Controls TechnicianJob DescriptionPerform engineering duties in planning, designing, and installation of electrical industrial controls equipment. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement assigned engineering projects. Provide general electrical troubleshooting and downtime support to maintenance and operations teams.ResponsibilitiesImplement software and hardware changes necessitated by product changes, new machines, or technology.Analyze safety, waste, quality, and downtime data to set priorities for improvement of plant systems.Provide documentation updates and training for maintenance and operations regarding changes to and upkeep of plant electrical control systems.Provide support to the maintenance team as needed in all areas of plant operations.Essential SkillsKnowledge of PLC, HMI, vision systems, safety devices, and AutoCAD.1+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production facility performing electrical/PLC work.Utilization of electrical design for schematics (AutoCAD Electrical is preferred but open to others).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Mitsubishi PLCs is preferred, but open to others.A degree is not required; candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience in the industry are encouraged to apply.Opportunity for Mitsubishi PLC training and potential travel to Japan.Work EnvironmentThis is a production and manufacturing facility that is relatively clean.
